More than words

A little learning.
A lasting connection.

Veda Mandir Gujarati School Bolton teaches Gujarati from complete beginners through to GCSE level. Our Saturday classes give children a place to begin and continue their Gujarati learning journey.

01

Connect with family

Gujarati can open the door to conversations with grandparents and relatives, helping children feel part of the stories and everyday moments that matter.

02

Celebrate Gujarati heritage

A language carries more than its words. Learning Gujarati offers a way to connect with family traditions, cultural celebrations and a shared sense of belonging.

03

Build confidence in the language

Whether your child is starting from scratch or already knows some Gujarati, taking the next step can help them feel more confident using the language.

A journey, one step at a time

From first words to GCSE.

Your child does not need to speak Gujarati already. We teach from beginners to GCSE, so there is a learning journey to explore at different starting points.

01

Make a beginning

Starting to learn a language means discovering its sounds, letters and everyday words. Our beginner teaching is a starting point for children new to Gujarati.

02

Keep building

As familiarity grows, there is more to explore in reading, writing and understanding Gujarati. Speak to the school about your child's current knowledge and next steps.

03

Look towards GCSE

Our teaching extends to GCSE level. The school team can explain the GCSE learning route and help you understand what it means for your child.

The team will discuss your child's starting point and the available classes when you register your interest.
